| I recently bought an unlocked iphone but i stupidly updated it with itunes and installed the latest firmware. Is there a way to have the firmware downgraded or unlocking it again? Or is it permanently out? Plz an advise would be helpful.

| Im only asking this because my friend got an ipod touch and now he has an application for it that lats you use it as a phone(call/texting). and im pretty sure you can put music on your iphone. So, now whats the difference for buying one of them and not the other? can name applications they have and service they get.
